For Funeral Professionals

Helping Funeral Professionals Take Back Control of Their Destiny.

Your funeral home is the place your community already turns to. The Collective exists to help you lead what comes next.

Our vision

A profession with more ways to serve families. led by the funeral homes they already trust.

Funeral professionals deserve products and technology shaped around the realities of their work. We believe listening to their concerns is where better ideas begin.

Everything the Collective builds, including campaigns, products, creative work and technology, exists to strengthen the guidance families already receive from their funeral home, never to replace it.

Funeral directors were never supposed to wear all these hats: caring for families, running the business, educating the community and keeping up with technology, all on top of being a funeral director. The role was never meant to carry every one of those responsibilities alone.

So the vision is bigger than any one offering: change how communities think and talk about remembrance, give families more to discover through the funeral home they trust, and carry more of the work around you, so you can lead what comes next.

01 · Public campaigns

Changing the conversation
in your community.

Reimagining What's Possible™ is a public campaign about how communities think and talk about remembrance. It reaches people before the moment of need, with funeral homes at the center of that conversation locally.

The campaign does the early work, so families arrive at your door already thinking differently.

02 · The collection

The work people
rarely see.

The campaigns open the conversation in your community. This is what you put in a family's hands when it does: a collection created to help people talk about remembrance and see what's possible, discovered through the funeral home they already know.

We discuss selection, support and terms together before agreeing any participation or support.

03 · Beyond the service

A relationship that
can continue.

Your relationship with a family does not have to end with the service. An anniversary gathering. A story shared with a grandchild. Something personal kept at home. Remembrance continues in many forms long after the day itself.

The products are designed to inspire people and help those conversations begin. A painting can open a story about color and character. Music can bring back a voice or a moment. A place can hold memories that one generation wants to leave for the next.

We want to help funeral homes remain a familiar place for that guidance and connection throughout the year, beginning with the families and communities you already know.

Not simply something to offer. Something that helps a family find the words.

Technology that works
alongside you.

When the campaigns, the collection and the technology all work together, it means more opportunities for your funeral home. But more opportunity should never mean more weight on your team. Let technology take some of the workload off, so there is more time for the work only you can do.

Vigil.ai is an operating system being developed for funeral homes. It brings the tools, records and partners you already use into one system, with a team of AI assistants that does the routine work and brings it back finished, for your review.

It works alongside the people you already trust, while your team stays in control.

Frequently asked questions

A few useful
answers.

Are you trying to replace the funeral-home relationship?

No. Everything is designed to strengthen the relationship between a family and the funeral home they trust. The offerings, education and technology are built around that guidance, not around removing it.

Can we explore this if we already work with other suppliers?

Yes. The Collective is designed to work around the business and relationships you already have. You can explore what fits without replacing everything else.

Is a conversation a commitment to membership?

No. The first step is simply to understand your funeral home, your community and where support would be useful. Scope, availability and terms are clear before you decide.

Would we have to change how we run our funeral home?

No. The aim is to add useful possibilities around the care you already provide. You take on what fits your business and your community.

What would make the biggest
difference to your team?

Membership is not just access to what exists. It is a voice in what gets built next. Tell us where you would welcome support, and what your funeral home and your community need.

“I grew up above my family’s funeral home, so I know what this work asks of the people who do it. We are looking for homes that want to offer families more than they knew to ask for, without becoming something different from the trusted place they already are.”
