A design conversation about a bespoke memorial piece
For vendors and service partners

Bring something that deserves to exist here.

Makers, manufacturers, service providers and technology partners bring different kinds of capability. We welcome a conversation about how your work could support funeral homes and the families they serve.

What kind of support do you provide?

There is more than one way to contribute.

01

Products and merchandise

For makers, manufacturers and brands with an existing offering, a thoughtful new application or an idea still taking shape.

02

Service partners

For service providers whose work could support funeral homes behind the scenes or make part of a family’s experience feel clearer.

03

Technology and platforms

For technology partners interested in solving a real problem, connecting systems or making difficult work feel lighter.

What your work changes for a family

We believe there is an opportunity to expand on traditional choices with offerings that reflect a person's unique identity. An offering built with real craft and a real idea behind it lets someone be remembered the way they actually lived.

What it changes for funeral service

The profession is ready for fresh perspectives and new ways for families to express remembrance. Work that arrives with a clear purpose, a story people understand and support behind it gives the profession something to be proud of showing.

An idea is enough to start

You may have an existing product, a service, a technology or an idea still taking shape. The Studio can explore development work with members where there is a fit, with scope and terms agreed first.

The opportunity

What being part of this looks like.

A connected route to market

Funeral.Shop is being developed as a public marketplace for funeral service, intended to help participating vendors become easier for families and funeral homes to discover without requiring a separate sales relationship with every firm.

A place in the story

The public education campaign is in development. We can discuss whether an offering has a place in its future stories; participation does not guarantee campaign exposure.

Development alongside you

Members can discuss concept, design, prototyping and production support through The Studio. Availability, scope and terms depend on the project.

Standards that protect everyone

We are interested in work with a clear purpose and a meaningful place in people's lives, not more products for the sake of more products.

A listing is not
the relationship.

Being part of the Collective is meant to be a working partnership, not a line in a directory. Clear information builds trust with funeral professionals and families, so we would rather understand what you make, why it matters and how it is best explained.

Vigil.ai

Your product. Their operating system.

Vigil.ai is being designed as a place where partner tools could connect with the systems funeral homes already use. The aim is to reduce repeated integration work while preserving your product, brand and customer relationship.

A chain-of-custody provider's tracking could appear in the home's day. A website provider's site could stay current with what the home offers. Answering services, print, accounting, preneed and transport are examples of the kinds of categories the developing platform may support. Availability and integration terms remain to be confirmed.

Common questions

A clearer place to begin.

Does this have to be a new product?
No. You may bring an existing offering, a new application for one or an early idea. The first conversation is about understanding what you do and where it may fit.
Does an inquiry guarantee participation or a listing?
No. Reaching out begins a conversation. Any next step would depend on fit, readiness and terms agreed together; it does not guarantee inclusion in the Collective or Funeral.Shop.
Can a service provider get involved?
Yes. Products are only one part of the picture. We also welcome conversations with service and operations partners whose work could support funeral homes and the people they serve.
